Traffic control people will be on site during the day and traffic signals will control traffic at night. Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday with the possibility of some work on Sundays. INVERNESS COUNTY: Grand Etang Bridge The Grand Etang Bridge will occasionally be reduced to one lane for bridge replacement until Friday, Oct. 31. A detour is available via a temporary bridge, marked with signs and directional lighting. Traffic control people will be on site. VICTORIA COUNTY: Cabot Trail Repaving Sections of the Cabot Trail (Trunk 30), south from the Path End Bridge, are restricted to one lane until Friday, Oct. 31, for paving. A two-kilometre detour is provided on Ox Bow Road (known locally as Old Loop Shore Road) until further notice. Signs and barricades are in place. ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Lane Closures, Highway 104 There will alternating lane closures on Highway 104 from Exit 31A at Addington Forks west for about four kilometres from Saturday, Oct. 11, to Monday, Oct. 13. Signs and traffic control people will be on site and delays are possible. Please drive with extra caution in the area. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. HANTS COUNTY: Halfway River Bridge, Highway 101 Continuing work on the new bridge and approaches at Halfway River on Highway 101 will require intermittent lane closures on the existing on- and off-ramps at Exit 8 until Friday, Oct 24. A marked detour route is available on Rand Street, Bishopville Road and Old Post Road. DIGBY COUNTY: Exit 25 Trunk 1 and Back Road at Exit 25 on Highway 101 will be closed for construction of a new interchange until Monday, Dec. 15. There will be a detour on Acacia Valley Road. INVERNESS COUNTY: Upper South West Mabou Road The Upper South West Mabou Road, known locally as the Irish Road, is closed because of storm damage. The road, between Moran Road and the River Intervale Road, is expected to be closed for at least two weeks. ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Trunk 7 Sections of Trunk 7, south from the intersection of Highway 104 at Antigonish, are restricted to one lane until Friday, Oct. 31 for repaving. KINGS COUNTY: North River Road North River Road, starting about 12 kilometres from English Mountain Road, west for about 2.8 kilometres will be reduced to one lane until Friday, Oct. 31. GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Route 316 Route 316 will have alternating one-lane closures for upgading, gravelling and repaving from the intersection with Trunk 16 and Half Island Cove, west for 4.7 kilometres, until Friday, Oct. 31.
