After the season ended, Texas Tech made a bold decision when the team cut ties with head coach Kliff Kingsbury after six seasons.It didn’t take long for the Red Raiders to find their new coach though. Former Utah State head coach Matt Wells takes over as the new head coach at Texas Tech.With a new coach comes questions about the current roster. Although Bowman missed time at the end of the season with injuries, the freshman quarterback completed over 69-percent of his passes and threw for over 2,600 yards in just eight games this season.It looks like the Red Raiders have their quarterback of the future.
The contamination of the water at the Kelani river has once again forced the supply of water to parts of Colombo and Greater Colombo to be curtailed.The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said that the water supply had to be curtailed in Colombo, Kotte and Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia Municipal Council areas. Water at the Kelani river was found to have been contaminated a few days ago and the supply was then curtailed. It was later found that a soft drinks company was responsible for the contamination.
